WHO WE ARE
Cascade State Medical Association (CSMA) is a state of Oregon nonprofit and a 501(c)3 organization established in August 2021.
CSMA exists to build community amongst and advocate for current and future healthcare professionals who self-identify as Black, Indigenous, or persons of color (BIPOC), allies and their patients.
We aim to become a leading voice for BIPOC healthcare professionals, allies and patients in the state of Oregon.
Key activities include community building and advocacy activities; mentoring & nurturing students across the educational spectrum to build a pipeline; partnership with community-based organization at the local and state level to achieve aligned goals.
